Environmental Impact of Grass Farming

One of the many benefits of grass farming is its positive environmental impact. The love of the land and the soil is one of the main values that we at WFI hold in common with the majority of farmers in the world. We view grass farming as the 21^st Century revolution in agriculture. We believe progressive grass farming with World Feeder Bermuda Grass is the true environmental grass roots movement.

Stewarding the land through progressive grass farming will have a long-term environmental impact for general-purpose farms.

But it also provides the means to accomplish some specific solutions for better ecology:

• Water conservation
• Creation of permanent, robust "green belts"
• Protection of wetlands (especially salt marshes, etc.)
• Reclamation of salt lands (natural and man-made)
• Reclamation of polluted lands (petroleum and other carbon-based contaminants)

Our long-range goal is to work with academia and others to expand the knowledge of how grass farming can solve a variety of problems in the struggle to protect our environment.
